Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Grated peel of 1 lemon
  • 1-2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
  • Step 1 Place the butter in a bowl and beat with the lemon juice until light and fluffy.
  • Step 2 Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 3 Divide the butter into halves and place on a piece of waxed paper, foil, or plastic wrap. Roll each one into an even sausage shape and secure by twisting the ends. Using a Sharpie marker, label  and date your butter
  • Step 4 Enjoy!

Q U I C K  T I P S:
Goes great with salmon or any broiled fish. Add to a sauce for a nice and subtle pop of lemon.

Shelf life: 1 week in the refrigerator. 1 month in the freezer

Fresh is always best. Never use concentrated juice.

This recipe works just as good with lime!
